I truly love to paint and paper.  My preferences are deep colors mixed with bright white.  I've put a lot of effort into decorating my home and my offices.  I want to have an inviting home and an inviting workplace.  I've also decorated many children's rooms on commission.  My taste may not run with yours, but here are examples!
